This series of self-portraits is part of a long-term investigation into the self-portrait as a site where identity, presence, and authorship collide, mutate, and dissolve while I hurl myself into the gaze of the Other, testing how I am seen, misread, or seized. At the same time, I probe how I choose to shape myself within my own aesthetic vernacular, and how that tension grinds against the narratives projected onto me.
